The not-so-perfect-but-oh-so-perfect

This blog has been six long, amazing, wild, fun, challenging years in the making.  I was supposed to launch this project in 2007 when my then-boyfriend-now-hubby and I packed up a budget truck to head West.  It was the perfect way to chronicle our adventures with our favorite Michiganders back home.  Then life happened and time went on without one word typed.  Then we got engaged in November of 2009.  Now this was the perfect time to start the blog!  I can keep it as a diary of every godforsaken decision I made about the wedding.  And then the wedding took on a life of its own.  In 2010 when we finally did get hitched, I knew that was the perfect time to start a blog. Newlywed life would surely be crazy and provide lots of ridiculous stories.  And then we got knocked up.  Twice.  And had two babies within 20 months of each other.  And life exploded all over hell.  And I still thought those were the perfect times to start this damn blog.  But alas...not a word.  And now we are uprooting our beautiful Colorado natives and moving them to Michigan to be closer to our families.  Now THIS is the perfect time to start a blog.  Right?  Except there is no perfect time.  I've waited and waited for the perfect time to start.  I've thought with guilt about days I should have had the courage to write but didn't.  I've thought about retro-actively posting about experiences that have already happened.
